This project, in my opinion, is of the highest importance to the city of Brampton. It is absolutely critical if Brampton is to transition from a sprawling rural community to a modern urban city. We absolutely must vitalize our downtown core if we are to ensure a sustainable, prosperous and modern major city. Addressing the traffic gridlock that is stifling business and residents in Brampton, is a most critical step towards this goal.

We need to move towards the future, not backwards into the past... this will make Brampton a little closer to where events should happen. Let's go for it.

This is absolutely needed. The traffic coming and going from Mississauga and Brampton is becoming an absolute chaos and needs to be taken care of.

We need it and it's obvious that opposition is built on it ignorance and gut feelings, not reason and logic.
"But it won't be able to turn!"
As if civil engineers don't know what a turning radius is...it's amazing to see unqualified people commenting on what takes people's years to study.

I will recommend to start the metro Lynx as soon as possible. It would really help enhancing the communication to all people. Thanks for taking the initiative.

The LRT is an important step forward for our city. The proposed route will benefit the downtown core and revitalize it for the future. Let's get on with it!

Travelling west bound (and back) is a total nightmare. Tried this once by GO and it took 3-4 hours to get to Brampton from Hamilton. This would cut that trip to a third. Brampton needs this to keep us connected to the network in all directions.

It is disappointing that this fully funded LRT is more likely not to happen than to happen because of short-sighted politicians.
Brampton needs more modern transit solutions if we ever want to be more than a suburban bedroom community.

Yes, we should begin with this project, and continue with an east-west route along Queen Street, as soon as possible, afterward.

I support the LRT along main to downtown brampton. To the people to say stop at Steeles and take ZUM - next time you book a flight make sure you book one with stop-over not direct because it is the same thing.
