SSEN proposals vary so significantly from the National Grid’s ESO’s pathway to 2030 (which is what is actually needed to support the governments Net Zero aims) that the NEED for what they propose needs to be evidenced. There is NO Hurlie substation in the NGESO recommendations!

There are huge flaws in the information given by SSEN. This project should be totally scrapped. This is for profit not taking into consideration the environment or the oeoples lives going to be affected. Not enough detail on Health issues in the future looks like try it and se, pay compensation if we have to... Our beautiful country and it's people deserve better than this.....

I am totally against this planning application for Hurlie Substation. The implications for all of us up and down the line but especially for those living nearby the horrific infrastructure of a substation is too awful to think about when there are alternatives that SSEN are ignoring.

There is far too much infrastructure in the northeast ruining our beautiful country side and no one seems to care apart from the people being affected by it. This doesn’t even have any joined up thinking . It’s just let everone build regardless of the residents lives it’s ruining

SSEN have been repeatedly sloppy in their submissions. This re submission is another example.

Already seeing huge disruptions with the volume of traffic heading up to the forest via quithel enterence. These drivers are not used to driving on country roads and there's going to be an accident before long. I can only fear if this goes ahead what the impact will be on us local folks.

Stop industrialising our beautiful Scottish countryside to export power south of the border for monetary profit.

The planning application should be rejected. I agree with all the points listed on this petition and object to the Hurlie substation, the Tealing substation and the TKUP OHL proposal; not least due to inadequate EIAs, also to total disregard by the developer of communities’ concerns and refusal to consider under grounding.
