Hurlie substation resubmission objection-Save Our Mearns

Very concern that due process has not been adhered to by SSEN in their submissions. Applications have been submitted peacemeal which does not reflect the full extent of the application. No effort or costings have been put forward on alternative proposals. Considering the huge sums of money being paid back to suppliers to switch off the systems on a very regular basis this cannot be the most cost effective solution. The whole process and procedure for the installation of solar or wind turbines urgently needs to be readdressed.

I object to this application by SSEN. This is a destruction of our natural environment. Other options are not explored.

This needs to be stopped

I strongly object to SSENs plans for the sub station and associated pylons.

We don't need these things in our countryside

I strongly obect to hurie power station and everything related to that project.

I am completely against this project on the grounds that it is the wrong equipment in the wrong place, and will bring no benefit to the area.

I am 100% against this substation

I am frightened by the apparent lack of competence shown by SSEN in carrying out an accurate and honest EIA .

I strongly object to this as too costly and unnecessary pylons . This infrastructure should be underground or off shore which would cause less harm and damage to people and animals.

This whole project hasn’t been thought through properly, so many flaws with it and ssen are not listening to the local residents

I object to this.

Too many, too large, impacting the agricultural economy of the area.

We need proper evidence of need for SSE overblown plans. SSE will not have to pay for all this infrastructure and their only interest is to maximise their profit.

Does not benefit Scotland and the farmers or ordinary persons. To costly and our weather causes problems. Too much wind and not enough sun!!

Use common sense and stop this destruction of our visual heritage and the threat to the health and safety of the Scottish people.
