Object to Hurtle substation

I object in the strongest possible way to the very seriously flawed application for the Hurlie substation for all the reasons listed in this petition.

The whole project makes no sense. Destroying huge amounts of the countryside. SSEN are the wrong people for the job. It's a completely unnecessary development.

I reconfirm my objection to this proposal

Please stop the destruction of our countryside for corporate profit!

I object to this because of the desecration of our beautiful countryside. The fact that we pay more in Scotland for our power and it comes from here is criminal.

The additional information submitted by the developer fails to correct previous errors or address valid objections. Serious quality assurance failures, misleading or incomplete environmental assessments, poor public consultation practices, and unsuitable compensatory measures all contribute to continued and valid opposition to the proposed development

Completely unnecessary development at the expense of Scotland to profit foreign investors. Scotland already provides excess renewable energy and will never benefit from gross industrialisation to provide Westminster and their complicit (Scottish government and SSEN) criminals with the unwanted ruination of Scotland.

I object to all substations and pylons which will desecrate our beautiful Scottish countryside and mar our stunning landscape forever.

We would like you to reconsider this build. We don't want it.

I object to this application by SSEN. Alternative options have not been presented or explored

These pylons should not go ahead!

This is a ridiculous proposition, wrecking livelihoods and happy homes in Aberdeenshire. This is an area of outstanding natural beauty and should not be subject to.mass industrial vandalism.

This proposal is not respecting the wishes of a great number of Stonehaven and Mearns area residents. The implications are so bad for the future of the health and well being of communities around here, wildlife, food production, devastation of our landscape and so on. Not enough thought been given to safer, proper “green” alternatives in the rush for companys making money out of the Net Zero target. And Scotland won’t benefit from cheap electricity as a result of these Wind farms, huge pylons and substations. It’s not acceptable!
