VA laws are ridiculously unsupportive for this type of retrival.

It is a shame that an animal that has been struck by a vehicle and there is someone that is willing to take the animal will go to waste!

Charity is suppose to start in your community. Virginia lawmakers are not out to help the hungry or homeless in virginia.. It amazes me that so many charities and organizations are so willing to send food and help overseas when we got people right here who are hungry. What about the neighbor that went to bed hungry last night? What about the single mom struggling to feed her children? Or the elderly that can't get out to the grocery stores? The large number of animals that are killed each year and the meat is worth saving could help save many families from being hungry. This man is taking a stand to truly help everyone not just himself. Wish we had alot more people like that in Virginia

I agree with you I had the same thing happen to me in Bedford a few years ago and I do not believe that it is just wasted. I belive it is given to who they want to have it themselves instead of some one like you that could use it.
