I went to the Hungry Mother frequently and never saw a problem with there being the two bathrooms. I hope you will grant the variance and allow the owners to make the most of the limited space and create a viable new restaurant.

I strolled down the block to dine at Hungry Mother with family and friends two to three times a week until they (sadly) closed their doors. They were perfection, in cuisine and hospitality, and bathrooms. It worked sans problem then with two baths, it will work again. Never a problem. I do hope you will grant the variance. They were essential to the neighborhood and they are sorely missed.

Granting a variance will bring back one of the charms of Kendall Square - it's a cultural must - as someone who lives and works in the community, we'd love to see it back.

We ate there lots of times. Great restaurant and we never had to even wait for a bathroom.
A third bathroom would be a waste of time and money.

Why make it unnecessarily difficult to reopen a space that was so beloved by its many patrons and never posed any kind of problem to begin with?

I'm happy with two bathrooms -- definitely don't need a third.

I have been in other restaurants of similar size (or larger) with only two bathrooms and not found this to be a problem. A variance should be granted.

I have no doubts that this restaurant should be able to open with the current configuration of bathrooms and there will be no harm to the public interest.

I pee a lot!!! It was never a problem to find an available restroom with only 2 at this location. Please see your way to not punishing a business and future businesses that would otherwise make a success of this space!!! It's small enough. To take the room away and demand the renovation expenses is unfair and unnecessary!
2 unisex bathrooms is plenty.
Thank you.

I dined at Hungry Mother on several busy occasions throughout the restaurant's history, including New Year's Eve, and never experienced any issues with the number of restrooms.

Based on my experience at Hungry Mother, I see no reason to add a third washroom. I dined there somewhat regularly, and often when crowded, and never experienced an issue.

Loved the restaurant, miss it often. I never had a bathroom problem when I was there. It's a small place anyway.

Given the region's history it's perfectly fine and often common to find less that ideal bathroom options (if any).

I have been a resident of Cambridge for more than 12 years and have regularly enjoyed dining at Hungry Mother and at Kendall Café before it. I never found the space lacking for restrooms. Please grant this variance and bring this space back to the community.

I was very sorry to see hungry mother code, and it never occurred to me that there was any issue with the number of restrooms.
