More labs that are accessible at all times would be great. Class times can be problematic with scheduling our time for our projects. Upgraded software would also be beneficial as well.

-Make sure one Lab is open AT ALL TIMES because it is hard to work on projects if there are always classes in the labs. Classes that don't need computers or the labs that can easily be moved to another room. Also make sure that all softwares are available in all the labs.

The constant technical problems with computer equipment is one of the reasons I decided to leave Humber after my first year. The few times I needed tech support, I either never received it, or they got back to me hours after I left the lab. I did not feel that Humber College considered film students a priority.

I depend on these programs in order to complete my projects, so when they fail me in terms of transcoding, incompatable plugins, or even in just attempting to open the application (because on some computers they refuse to open altogether), my education value feels lesser.

Post secondary schools should not have a problem like this. These kids need these programs to work and have yes paid for that....so fix it please

I shouldn't have the problem editing on my computer at home, then transferring to a school computer only to say that the software isn't up to date at the school. I have had many technical issues accessing programs, or programs crashing frequently. All the media computers should have the same programs on them, or at least the entire Adobe Creative Cloud installed. It's frustrating when I'm trying to continue a project Ive been working on on a different computer and it doesn't have all the same plugins and software. Also, the mouse often doesn't work correctly, which makes using any kind of editing software unbearable.

When trying to use Avid and Pro Tools (industry standard) in L building, most computers crash the program for me, therefore losing my work or making it very difficult to complete my projects.
