The government of President Robert Mugabe continues to violate human rights without regard to protections in the country’s 2013 constitution. It has intensified repression against thousands of people who peacefully protest human rights violations and the deteriorating economic situation. Police use excessive force to crush dissent, and violate the basic rights of civil society activists, human rights defenders, journalists, and government opponents. Widespread impunity for abuses by the police and state security agents remains. President Mugabe has undermined the independence of the judiciary and of the Zimbabwe Human Rights Commission (ZHRC) through verbal assaults on the two institutions.
The stories coming in from activists on the ground prove that the silence from the government is a calculated move to hide these abuses. I am compiling these reports now so we can send a formal packet to the Zimbabwe Human Rights Commission. Post this link to your Facebook page and email your local representative to demand they address this repression.

The momentum behind this effort is undeniable and proves people are watching. Email your representative today to demand they address these rights violations. We must keep this pressure on the government until the abuse ends.

Mugabe and his regime are harming anyone who try to stop them from continuing to rule by fist or dictatorship. We want rule of law to prevail and no one is above law. Mugabe's wife Grace goes around hitting a young lady with intention to seriously bodily harm her or kill her. No fear of God. No Human Rights in Zimbabwe

We are all equal in the sight of God & everybody has the right to live a life of happiness. Nobody has the right to infringe on other people's freedoms & nobody should rise above the law.
