‘The Creation of a Humanitarian Service Medal’ We the undersigned petition the Prime Minister for the Creation of a Humanitarian Service Medal’. To give national recognition for the Volunteers who are Non-Government Voluntary Civil Organisations, and are united and dedicated to saving life and alleviating suffering nationally (and world-wide). Financially we are supported entirely by donations, subscriptions and bequests, we can be called out by the Civil Authorities, for instance the Police, Fire and Rescue Service, the Ambulance Services and the Emergency Planning Officers of Local or National Government Departments. ‘Please Support Our Volunteers by signing this Petition’
