Humane Society of Wichita County (HSWC) Must Change to Protect Animals

I know so many people who have been affected by the wrong doings of Wichitas humane society. It needs to be taken over by people who actually care about the animals... (Wichita Falls put crew for instance)

Although we have never had any trouble with them I have heard many people's horror stories. I hope they get someone in charge that knows how to love on those animals.

Hoping things can improve

I think this is the saddest thing ever, I pray and hope that there is more compassion and thst the people in charge are held accountable. If they will not stand up for those with no voice than the public will. God bless the animals.

Terrible place. The sweet dogs deserve so much better than how they are treated at HSWC. Needs major changes in management or to be shut down completely.

I was fostering a dog from the Humane Society and he was supposed to go to New York. When I took him in for his check up the found a knot on under his neck and automatically said "it's cancer, and he cannot go to New York now. We will just put him down" I was so shocked because they weren't even going to test the knot or anything they just assumed the worse. I told them that they would not be putting him down because I was going to take him home with me. I ended up taking him to my vet and sunrise surprise the knot was not cancer and was in fact nothing to worry about. I had never been so mad in my life when they told me that, but I'm so glad I was able to take that sweet boy and give him a loving home!
