My family has all the resources we need to be successful with virtual learning, but we are still struggling! What about families without all the resources? I cannot imagine how difficult this is for them. Please figure it out for the sake of our children and HSE families!

Children are the losers in the shutdowns. I am doing the virtual learning with my grandson; it is hard on him and me as well. He is not performing as well as he did during in school instruction; he is frustrated often, and has had many tears. He loved school before the shutdown; what a tragedy for kids to lose their love of learning due to this!

We are asking for a choice. A choice for kids and teachers that want to return to in- person instruction to do so . We now know schools can be safe when proper, reasonable, common-sense safety measures are in place. It's also
time to stop with the excuses.... every other school system has figured it out.

Send k thru 12 back to school now. It’s a disgrace that HSE has had our kids in school for a total of 15 days since last March (5th grade to 12). All other districts have been back in since July and continue to be all in. Stop harming our kids!

The mental health of these children is also a public health crisis! They do not deserve to be punished because of the fear of a virus! There is plenty of data that shows the profound psychological impacts this is having on the our children!!! Let us be an example that we do not live by tyranny and fear!!

Allow parents to have the option to send their kids to school full time and learn in person. Other families who have health issues or are not comfortable can keep their kids at home virtual learning. My 9-yr old is struggling with virtual zoom classes and it is affecting his behavior and mental health. He needs a teacher in person and he needs social interaction with his peers.
