I strongly believe that redirection of lorries and other traffic related to the construction via Hampstead could cause significant damage to local roads and infrastructure. In addition, the negative impact on local residents and businesses due to what will add to an already overburdened route will be extremely detrimental to local commerce and could lead to road safety issues.

The area is covered by greens also very calm and nice sort of mixture of feeling of living in the city and the same time benefitting of kind of country side mood. Destroy this is devastating news which I'm sure non of the neighbours want it!!
This needless scheme will cause enormous problems for many years. The rail link to the West Midlands and beyond is already very quick and efficient. The HS2 proposal represents a senseless and colossal waste of money coupled with massive inconvenience. There are many inefficient rail services elsewhere which urgently require development instead.
