Saw your petition in the CNJ and came here at once to support it, but notice that you say 'We, the residents of Hampstead" which alas, I am not, although like many otherss who have enjoyed Hampstead Heath and the ponds and so on, I would love to protect the area. If necessary, please delete my signature, or amend the petition, if you can, to widen your circle of supporters - and good luck!

The HS2 Link is the part of the project that needs rethinking. It will cause horrendous traffic chaos for those travelling into inner London.

I don't think that the majority of people really appreciate the amount of disruption that Camden will have to tolerate over this 10 year period. It will be murder.

The Government needs to develop a sensible traffic plan for the hundreds of HGV vehicles to and from Euston that prevents local communities like Hampstead being ground into dust.

There is no business case for HS2, as the Institute of Directors has shown. It is carbon-neutral, so there is no environmental case for it. It will cause terrible ecological destruction to the countryside. And it will wreck Hampstead, Belsize and Camden. Far cheaper alternatives are available.

If there really will be hundreds of lorries every day for years that is outrageous! I'm all for development but not with such inconsiderate management.

there is no economic case for HS2, more people will come to london from birmingham, not go to birmingham from london

I have sent a personal letter to MPs and members of government, as well as to HS2. I continue not to have a reply from HS2, despite my asking specific questions that pertain to me and my property..

There are many better ways to spend the money instead of ripping our country apart.

The routing of this line is incomprehensible. Why drive it through a heavily built up area of north London when you can connect to Straford East through a much more open one?

It's just a big scam to compulsory purchase Euston for private redevelopment - and to bump up property prices in Birmingham to London levels.

The funds for this project should be diverted to projects that stimulate the local economy and people's welfare
