Our roads are badly congested as they are. If the planned road closures and the 100 extra lorries a day become reality the whole area of Hampstead, Belsize, Primrose Hill and Camden will become more polluted, businesses will be lost and the traffic will become a nightmare.

This is one of the most moronic plans ever devised by a supposedly democratic government. No compelling economic rationale given the existing infrastructure, huge opportunity cost (we need schools, hospitals, and police, not obsolete rail), and enormous disruption.
