HELP THE DEFENSELESS!
DOGS & CHILDREN left in vehicles during even mildly warm weather are at risk for deadly heatstroke and yet, they are defenseless in protecting themselves from this situation.
We believe the citizens of Halifax Regional Municipality (Nova Scotia) can start something BIG! While laws are in effect for those who make these offenses, there is not enough public outcry to push for convictions. We believe offenders who put pets & children at risk of Vehicular Heatstroke should be made ACCOUNTABLE through enforceable fines, penalties, cruelty and abuse investigations and other LEGAL and punitive actions by government.
