it's a form of descrimination let's stop this nonsense.

I have a granddaughter who is in her twenties with special needs so I can relate to all who have or know someone with special needs!

This is very close to my heart as one of my dearest friends would like to wed, however, it would affect her financially in a major way.

This Bill must pass! People with disabilities deserve the same rights as able-bodied citizens. They should not be denied the happiness of the love of their soul mate because they were born with a disability! FIX THIS NOW!

Our physical disabilities do not define us & should not make a difference as far as our income. All this does is make us more disabled in a different by controlling how we can live our lives. We, as ppl with disabilities should not have to make a choice, we should be free to live our lives just like anyone else!! This law needs to be changed immediately & give our independence back to control our lives!!!!

The needs are not any different after marriage than before - when fully abled couples marry the benefits are not cut as severe and tax benefits are more of a balance

I myself am a disabled individual with cerebral palsy. I do not receive any government funded benefits so I was able to marry my wonderful husband 22 years ago. But it is a sad fact of our society that if I were to receive any sort of government funding benefit I would not be able to do so. Without suffering for that choice I do believe that is biased and discriminatory towards individuals with special needs.
