Turning regular spots to overnight spots would cost you nothing.

This would be really helpful!

This isn't only a problem for the HPs parking is atrocious at Linfield and all I've seen is them taking away more parking spots and ushering out more tickets because they've changed these rules without telling the students.

This is one, among many of the parking issues that exist on this campus.

I think it is rediculous that I paid for a parking permit when I often have to park so far away from my apartment.

We need more parking beacause we pay too much to park so far from our place!

I find it very frusterating that there are so few parking spots for the HPs. They're the most expensive apartments on campus and there's not nearly enough parking spots for everybody. The Greens and The Whites have pleanty of overnight parking for their residents, even the six pack has a parking lot by Dillian for residents. The music parking lot is usually over half empty. It would be much better to reserve five or six parking spots for faculty or visitors in the music hall or let them park in the theatre parking lot. To one time visitors the slightly longer walk in the daytime is no inconvience, but to students carrying groceries back or walking alone at night, it is difficult and feels unsafe. Parking permits are expensive and if more parking isn't added HP residents should be advised in future years to just buy the reduced parking pass since there are rarely any "full price" parking spots open.

It is very frustrating having to park so far away after we have boughten a parking pass. Especially when we have groceries and it is raining. There are a lot of open spots in the parking lot, and I find it unfair we are being ticketed for what I believe is a way for the school to make more money.

With the limited overnight parking in the Bull lot, if we cannot find a spot we are forced to park further away from our apartments. At night this is a large concern because it is not well lit and not near any buildings to provide a sense of security if something were to happen. With the tragic events of this past fall and attacks on students in the past, I personally do NOT feel comfortable walking at night from my car to my apartment.

It has long been a problem made worse when there's any kind of sporting or campus event. It really needs to happen given the overly excessive amount students pay in tuition, which campus faculty and staff must now, gathering significant debt on average, yet you still can't get a simple parking spot, especially when you're the one as a student who's using the spaces every single day. And, to the contrary, It does not encourage anyone to stop driving as well if that's one of the reasons in keeping the status quo. You are simply creating problems that can easily be fixed.

There is NOT enough parking for everyone in the HP's overnight. It is ridiculous to hand out $20 fines for parking in an otherwise legal spot. Parking at Facilities is a complete inconvenience, and could be proven dangerous at night time when there are strange people that walk around that area. When there are events, such as football games, the locals that attend park anywhere and do not recieve tickets. If you want to hold everyone to the same standard, then I suggest you either change your rules or enforce them on everyone. Students pay a great deal to attend this school, they should be the priority. I hope you read this petition and understand the students standpoint, which should be heard with respect.

I am a full-time student teacher right now. There is hardly any parking when I get home around 4pm and I then have to walk ten minutes to my car the next morning at 7am. It is frustrating that there are closer spots unused and that we're fined for using them overnight even when we pay for a parking pass.

I feel unsafe walking from the further ford parking lot. There are absolutely not enough spaces for everyone in the HPs to park.

We should be able to park close to our apartments when we pay to have a parking pass! The music building doesn't need overnight parking.

Parking is a real problem around the HP apartments. the music department does not need so much parking to be available overnight.
