It's a disgrace. The school and Council must consider the local residents who will be affected greatly by this proposal. It is a conservation area and a 12ft high fence 12ft from your window is planning madness.

Absolutely disgusting. Just because you cannot make the school work you are going to make your neighbours suffer. They bought their properties in good faith and, should you be living there, what would you do Mr Headmaster? If you are going to go ahead with this ridiculous plan you need to buy the properties up that are going to suffer.

They are having a presentation on the 12th March at 6pm. Some have had invites delivered locally. Anyone who didn't should call or email Carol Phillips [email protected] 02920 562019 and ask to see the plans for yourself (assuming they don't decide a fracking plant is what they really need in the meantime)

It's worse than that. we are being misled: last June I was told in writing by Richard Read, who runs the School grounds, "the school has no intention (or current opportunity) to extend its programme to exploit commercially having the pitch..." and "I speak for the current Leadership Team that there is no intention for lighting..."
