I am an established, new or otherwise aspiring musician/songwriter who has yet to be singled out by Steve Earle for my lack of songwriting talent or a variety of other shortcomings. I am feeling left out and would love to join the growing number of other musicians/songwriters that have been insulted by Steve Earle.

I'm also a younger, skinnier and less talented singer/songwriter than Steve. Although I'm not currently with one of Steve's ex-wives, I felt left out. Please insult me at your leisure.
I too would be honored by an insult from Steve Earle. He could join the list of other musicians who have treated me badly over the years in my journalism career. That list includes Warren Zevon and Frank Black.
For 30 years I've evaluated anything that calls itself country music by how much it does or does not suck when compared to Guitar Town....and I've worked in the country music industry a lot! I'm not a musician or songwriter by trade but I've played a lot of different instruments over my lifetime and am quite sure all of my efforts would fall short in Mr. Earle's opinion. I can think of no greater honor.
My best guess is that our music will be too pretty for Mr. Earle. I look forward to him listening to it at https://echosparks.bandcamp.com/releases and giving us his most savage opinions.
I would like to be told that I live in a van down by the river and that I'm a poor man's version of Eddie Vedder. I would like to be told this in the presence of the remaining members of Alice In Chains. If they are unavailable, any member of Candlebox will do.
