Michelle Anne X - How can I make a judge sympathetic to the fact I smoke and grow cannabis for MS.

Another person forced through the judicial system trying to justify their right to live as pain/symptom free as possible. when will the law makers catch up with the research and stop trying to make people criminals for using a plant that has been proven beyond doubt to ease the symptoms of so many conditions.These archaic laws need to be revised and brought into the 21st century to stop any more unnecessary stress to people with life limiting conditions who only want to be pain/symptom free, why are they considered criminals? Surely there is more pressing matters for law enforcement.

Medical cannabis should be legal now .....I support you 100% on your cause

Dear sir or madam: I implore you to consider the debilitating effects of ms versus the options available to her in regards to her treatment. The constitution states that every person in these United States has the unalienable right of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. In handing her a sentence based on archaic laws that are based on stereotypes and prejudices, you are effectively denying her these constitutional rights. For this is not a decision based on right/wrong, good/bad, legal/illegal, it should be a decision of compassion,humanity, and love for your fellow man. If this were your mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, would you not do everything in your power to provide her with the quality of life that she deserves? Again, I beseech you, your honer, not just on the behalf of Miss Michelle Ann X, but of every person that suffers from an ailment that can be treated with cannabis. The science is too strong to ignore. Cannabis helps ease symptoms of ms and many other conditions.

Cannabis is a medicine and the law needs to change in acceptng this fact.

Decriminalize cannabis. Patients want total access to their medicine without fear of repercussions.

It's time to show the UK that judges can say no to unjust laws and to show compassion. Michelle is not a criminal, she's caused no harm to others. No one should be punished for choosing cannabis; a medicine that is natural, safe and doesn't produce horrendous side effects.

Its about time we stopped the unjust law making cannabis a criminal offence! Free the weed for all of its many uses!

I might not agree with everything Michelle thinks, even about cannabis, but MS clearly benefits from medicinal cannabis which is essentially just supplementary anandamide therapy. Even if you don't believe it helps people what is the point in issuing sanctions against someone who is not harming any other person, especially when they have a serious medical condition?

I think it is disgusting that a human can't use something as simple as cannabis to relieve pain without having her ground door knocked down, as humans we should be aloud to choose and not be told what helps us or makes us feel better!

It is this simple. Cannabis is a medicine that works for many conditions. Many, like Michelle, find that it works better than any legal alternative. Many find that it is their only source of relief and well being. These people are patients, not criminals. Michelle is not a criminal. Make no judgements, without compassion.
