This is bs why not worry more about dog use and the amount of overdoses instead of use hunting

Hunting dogs CAN NOT read signs and all RESPECTFUL houndsman try our very very best to keep them off private land as much as we can! they’re doing what they’re bred to do and some times the game they’re pursuing crosses onto land that is private yes we have tracking systems that can track them but there’s only so much we can do some dogs have no stop. i personally own a hound that has so much drive and heart she’s hard to catch if she’s ready to be caught. so please please think before acting we mean no harm when our dogs cross into your land.

Why would you pass this bill? Doesn't Minnesota need the money from small game licenses? Do you not need hunters filling up their gas tanks, visiting local restaurants, staying in your hotels, purchasing sporting goods, ammo, clothing, dog food..... Do you see my point? If not read on.. here is another thing that will happen.. our hunters will move to neighbouring states, your pets will become prey to coyotes, wolves and bobcats. Children will also be in danger..once the predictors eat your pets they will move one to humans. Maybe MN can afford to lose the income from hound and upland hunters..but you can't afford to lose human lives..they are priceless. Hound hunters spend a lot of money in Minnesota.. so do upland hunters.. just vote NO.. it makes sense..

This bill is unnecessary and will have many negative environmental impacts across the state. Hound hunting is a major form of predator control and is already well regulated by the Iowa Department of Natural Resources. It is also a sport that has many postive cultural and economical impacts throughout the state. This bill will practically eliminate hound hunting in the state.

I have Coon hunted with hounds for over 50 years and have had no problems. Our Heritage of hunting is in jeopardy here. You can not control where a hound goes and if he gets somewhere where he shouldn’t be leave your firearm at the fence and go get your dog. It’s worked up until now. Please do not pass this bill for the wealthy minority’s!
