1) Parking exception to 50% of the requirement is unacceptable since there is already parking shortage in Glendale for the existing residents and for businesses in the vicinity. The hotel should be required to provide the parking necessary for the proposed development.
2) Public parking designed by Hotel Indigo is unacceptable: it is in the back of the building and not accessible to public. If Hotel Indigo intends to "replace" the public parking -then it should design its public parking entrance in a more accessible way - not in the back of its building but in the front: either on Maryland or on California. The same applies to both the subterranean and surface parking lot. Otherwise, the meaning of "public parking" will be lost.

Disgraceful and unnecessary. City Council just approved ANOTHER hotel not but 1 block away from this newly proposed hotel. Including the Hotel Maryland, that would make 3 within a block from one another. So disheartened by this. :(
unspeakable in regards to the public parking. The city should be more aware of what they are doing is incorrect
My precious parking. Please. Unless the city is going to provide free Valet service in that area.
Glendale is already commercial enough. Preserve some of its charm and access for its citizens!
Another bad decision by city. Instead of fixing our parking and traffic problem they are adding to it. It seems like they don’t think things through. There’s gotta be a better idea than this horrific design!
Residents of Glendale should have access to all public parking.
