Many statistics show that horses are one of the top animals to be abused. There are too many scenes I have seen personally were horses aren't treated properly. It breaks my heart and I believe there should be a law horse owners have to abide in order to own a horse. Horses may be animals, but they live, breathe, eat, and try to survive in this world just like we do. We have all these mandatory health codes so why shouldn't a horse have the same. The slaughtering of horses needs to stop. The cruelty to them needs to stop. If you can't afford to take care of a horse properly then you have no need to own one. Give the horse a chance with someone who can provide the right care for them.

I agree with your argument; I believe horses should be treated not just as a simple toy or an equal to any other animal, but treated as a person with a life just as important as yours. Because they are living and breathing just as we are.

so tired of seeing these poor skinny horses outside with no grass or water. its just cruel!! people need to be checked before they get animals.
