Did you know that every 5 minutes a horse is slaughtered for human consumption? We believe that EVERY horse should have a chance to live. People slaughter horses if they do something wrong, become lame, or do listen very well. People are like that too. Do we slaughter people if they do not listen, do something wrong, or become lame? NO! We do not do that to dogs, cats, turtles, etc., then why do it to horses?! Horses are apart of our culture. As a matter of fact, they have been by our side for a VERY long time. If we kill horses, we lose our culture. If we lose our culture, future generations will never know about our past....we will not have a past. It is not humane to slaughter horses. If you go look up pictures of a horse slaughterhouse or horses being slaughtered...you will will see how inhumane it is. If a horse becomes really lame or sick, they should put them to sleep just like they do dogs, cats, and other animals. Please sign our petition to help end horse slaughter for human consumption.
