what I see is the outright lack of responsibility of our city government ,and county council . It's time to start remembering that We The Citizens of Horry County need to hold them accountable to US!!

I, personally did not experience any of the flooding issues; but I feel great sympathy for those that did. I blame the county for every single inch of water that went into these houses. I remember when we were 'preserving the wetlands' now they are placing homes every where they can. I just don't understand it. We can talk until we are blue in the face and the County doesn't care. Every new home equals new taxes; more car taxes, etc. I believe the good -ole county boys are in the pockets of the Contractors which could be a conflict of interest if it was investigated. Some of these Council Members may even be part-owners of these Construction Companies. Ever thought about that. Funny how all the construction is being done by only a 'certain' number of contactors.

I’m signing because my neighborhood suffered so much loss during Florence. Our infrastructure needs to be looked at closer. The water has no where to drain off to.

I recently bought a house in Horry County. Will be moving there permanently next month. Being from Maryland I have personally seen the devastation caused by over development

I live in Horry County and only a few blocks from the waterway. I have only lived in the area for a year but when I purchased my property no one disclosed to us the problems the area had in store for it's property owners from the county government not doing their job to correct the issues before giving more and more building permits when the problems are so prevalent.

Something needs to be done about this problem. I am not an engineer, nor a builder, but the infrastructure does not support any more building until the current problem is taken care of.

We live in Lawson's landing and have been flooded twice. This was not a flood zone when we built this house in 2015.
