There needs to be better planning when it comes to public infrastructure. This county is one of the fastest growing counties in the US and with all the new construction of communities comes the responsibility of thorough planning and oversight. With all the development and drastic changes to topical and geographical conditions, you would have to be an idiot not to question the impacts of the flooding as a result of increasing development.

Please act to prevent future storm water and flooding issues within our county by limiting or denying additional approval of reaidential building as well as the transfer or sale of natural wetlands.

I agree that planning needs to be reevaluated. Responsible government entities must be held accountable

We would love to talk to you and the Council but have been told we are not welcomed at the Dec 18th meeting for public address per Mrs Hartley. So maybe meet us outside with our poster boards in silent protest

I am wondering what improvements to infrastructure would be planned and made if there were more doctors, lawyers, and "richer" folks having their homes repeatedly destroyed.... The hardworking people in Rosewood are pitied for sure by the town and county, but will be forgotten about shortly. Our lives and situations have been changed and devastated. People close to retirement now will have to keep working to pay off loans....think about that for a moment. Then know they are telling us the whole time we are trying to get our house back to livable everyone knows its going to happen again. We are stuck..can not leave (no money) and can not sell....

County council needs to be held accountable for what they do and focus on some infrastructure instead of just keep building

As a 30 plus year resident of Horry County I have seen development skyrocket while infrastructure has largely stagnated. The negligence of county officials in their foresight of sufficient planning for growth is reprehensible. We will only further suffer more flooding and congested roadways until development motivated by greed is arrested and converted to a responsible process.

I have lived on my property since 1969. We have never had the issues we face now. Overdevelopment cost me my home by creating excessive flooding. The county should be buying my home and property.
