Mr Ford you are missing the boat. Small isolated rural communities need more "Good" jobs, rather than having them ripped away by government! We don't have economies of scale as it is....each job lost also potentially means the loss of another tax payer, and we don't have enough of them.

This store has been their since I was young and in my mud 60's now. They are in a very remounted area and have had way to many disappointments to help the community survive as they have little else. They are Hrs away from any major highway, taking something else away just makes it that much more remote. This isn't fair to the town.

This action will not only affect lifestyle and community living, but will be devastating for the economy, for tourism, for the North. The message it sends is clear, that isolated northern communities don’t matter. This decision must be reversed !

This is wrong in so many ways. I am from Hornepayne and I know what these people are fighting for. I believe in what they are doing and stand up for them, as they need to hold onto every thing tangible. It is time for people to STAND up for what is right. It has gotten to the point where the people do not COUNT, only what politicians want seems to count. End this stupidity and leave what is there, there for a community that needs the jobs, the business and make this right.

I support this fight for my former Home town. I think it is time we as Canadians stand up for OUR RIGHTS ..no matter what Government is in power they think we are patsies. In a community where every business counts, and times are tough it is time to reconsider and end this stupidity.

I visit Hornepayne once to twice a year and this store is a stop every time. I chat with the employees and sometimes meet friends shopping there. Please do not close this outlet... it is a piece of this community!
