My husband is a correctional officer at the prison she was bringing in contraband too. All correctional officers are to have one another's Back and her decisions can be life or death for my husband and his fellow officers.

I as a law enforcement officer would expect, that my co workers and my fellow brothers and sisters at arms have my back at all times weather we are in the same institution or not, she did not.... we never walk alone is the saying in Florida, and she walked astray. We need to set an example, and show new as well as veteran officers that there is zero tolerance for her behavior, she put the lives of my fellow officers at risk, we all have family's to go home to, and she could have very well prevented that from happening. She needs to serve the maximum time for her crime, so we can show the public as well as fellow law enforcement officers, that we do care when we have an officer that turns crooked. I am disappointed that Mrs. Hooker had such little respect for her badge, and the fact she was supposed to uphold the law, and last but not least she had such little respect for her follow officer's and the public, she needs to be punished to the max.

As a former FDOC employee and resident of FL, this disgust me and until individuals are held fully accountable by the maximum penalty of the law, unfortunately this will keep happening. Please hold her accountable for her actions that put everyone in danger.

This offender needs to be punished as fully as the law allows. She not only put l Officers at risk but also other inmates. She is nothing less than a menace to society and need a her freedom taken away.
