My family all work for the Florida DOC and to have this women put my sisters yes 2 and my nieces yes 2 at risk is horrifying for me ...she should be held accountable and prosecuted to the fullest...we fear every day our loved ones might not come home over the 20 plus years several Co's have not or been hurt ...My family has served us all in keeping our community safe now we demand the justice department do its job and make her pay for her crimes...

No one should have to worry if they're safe at work or not when in such a maximum security setting.

I have relatives that work or worked there and they have a tough job !! They don't need the PRISONERS high on drugs. ....

She put my son's life at risk as well as many others out there that I know, love and care about. These Officers work tirelessly walking many miles each shift, some with only 1 day a week off at this point, due to understaffing and people leaving for better pay not to mention better hours. She put many lives at risk, please remember that and think how you would feel if it was your child, family or friends put at this risk. Sincerely TS McWherter

This is what us Correctional officers have to worry about each and every day we step foot on the compound. We're supposed to be a team and she put everyone in danger . She should be charged for everything and do it mandatory.

As a wife of a CO who worked directly with this woman, it's disheartening knowing that she provided ammunition to inmates. My husbands safety, as well as all the other CO's were compromised that day & she deserves the max.

I agree she needs to be an example for future officers. So that this stops happening. I know Someone who did things the same and just lost her licence to work in a correctional facility. Severe punishment shoukd be applied.

I worked at SWCI for 3 years as a correctional officer. I worked beside Beth Hooker for several months of that time. I am no longer employed there but that's still family and my friends there. By bringing in this contraband, she has put everyone including the public in harms way. Bullets and cellphones can easily get someone killed. The current employees are already facing danger and facing it even more now with the shortage of staff. I know for a fact Beth Hooker knew the dangers she put herself & the rest of the staff in because when I worked with her she always talked about dangerous it was and how she could never do that to us. Yet here she is.
