Last year Chelsea won the Champions league but finished 5th in the Premier League, outside of Champions League qualifying positions. However, it is deemed untenable for a Champion not to defend their trophy and subsequently, Tottenham Hotspurs had to relinquish their Champions League place for Chelsea to defend the cup. This year, Chelsea will finish in the Champions league Qualifying slot but either Arsenal or more likely, Tottenham will miss out. However, Chelsea are Europa league Champions and surely it is untenable that they are not defending their Europa league title. Sign this petition if you think Chelsea should do the right thing and defend their Europa League title and relinquish their Champions league slot

Fair is fair. If they want to be europa champs they can stay there. Stop letting them take everyone elses spots.

Absolute joke that they get to swap around like this every season. Sort it out UEFA. Rules are rules and they should stay in the league they qualified for.
