If the Dept of Defence can recommend every Chief of Staff for a DSM in recognition of their bravery facing paperwork and not applying the Leadership Principles taught in the DF, they can get off their pampered holes and explore the strength of character and sacrifice required to expose yourself to danger in order to save lives, and award Billy Kedian the medal(s) he earned. Shame on those who hide behind even more paperwork. Shame on those who have no experience of the hardship that must be endured to even be considered a soldier. You people have neither principles nor honour.

I was on that trip with Billy and he was and is a hero, his family fully deserve to be given the MMG for his actions
