To the Honorable Robert J Bentley:

    We, the undersigned, are calling on you to honor the spirit and intent of section 37-1-3 of the PSC statute to ensure equal representation for the citizens of Alabama by appointing Chip Brown to the Alabama Public Service Commission.
    We feel that to intentionally disregard this rule in order to appoint a personal friend is not in the best interest of our State. Mr. Brown received overwhelming support in his bid for the PSC, particularly in the southern half of Alabama, an area that has not had a member on the PSC in over 50 years, and with his multiple military deployments has a proven record of honorable public service.
    Chip is currently serving his Country & our State abroad in Afghanistan. Please honor him and the wishes of the citizens of Alabama by bringing him back home to represent us on the Alabama Public Service Commission.
