I worked at Fort Sheridan for almost 30 years as an Active duty officer, a Reservist and a Department of the Army Civilian. I am eligible for burial there, but there may be no room for me.

I am a retired Army Reservist and spent four years working at Ft. Sheridan before privatization. The cemetery should definitely be safeguarded.

I would rather see some of the land formerly occupied by Ft. Sheridan dedicated to resting places for our military veterans than housing complexes for the well to do.
