As a US Navy and Army veteran and a Lake County resident, I am strongly in favor of expanding the Ft. Sheridan Cemetery. While on active duty at Great Lakes NTC back in 1993-1995, I served on Military Funeral Detail for 6 months. During that time period, we performed Ceremonial Honors many times at Ft. Sheridan. I hope and pray that future generations of veterans will have the opportunity to be interred there.
