When graduation is moved into the gym many times family members get left out because there’s not enough room inside the gym.

Everyone in the graduate’s family should have the opportunity to watch their child graduate. Having it in the gym would limit the number of tickets per family. Turf the field after graduation.

I want to see my son walking on the football field. We are going to have family from Mexico coming to see him walking and it is unbelievable they will not be able to see him.

Why not change the field during summer break?? Don’t take this tradition and memory away from these kids. Nothing felt better during graduation than walking across that field and running to goal post with my classmates. Those things matter, they’re important.

I’m signing this petition on behalf of my son and his class of 2026. I have watched this class learn, grow, and excel in their education. This class has worked tremendously hard to obtain their high school diploma some with honors, and some just to be able to graduate. However, again Emanuel County School system is robbing our senior class the opportunity to be able to share their memorable moments with their family and friends.

The kids have worked hard all yea long with family wanting their love ones walk and three people is only mother, father and one sibling. This is totally unfair to the students and their families. This is a very important milestone in their lives that should not be limited to just three people.

I would love to see Jamya Worthen walk across the field where it is more space for the family as well as her grandmother to sitting alone the side being she can’t walk up bleachers. So definitely stand for on the field!!!
