It makes me so irritated that they have a brilliant source of content, and Disney has announced their intent to draw upon it from time to time, without actually crediting or citing the creators of the EU content they're basically ripping off.

I think it would be a fatal mistake to alter the universe now. The EU has been going strong for twenty plus years. I know you are Disney and you are legion, but so are we. We are the fans.

Give fans what they want.... Keep all the characters of the Expanded Universe and put them on film.. You're robbing so muvh precious memories of the EU. Let's keep it and not discard it.

The EU as it exists has continued the spirit of star wars my entire life. to cast it aside can only alienate legions of life long fans. without the EU keeping star wars alive for so many years, there wouldn't be enough fans to make movies for.

There's no logical or financial reason for Disney not to continue the EU nor to have made it 'non-canon'. To us, the fans, the true lovers and owners of Star Wars, the EU will always be canon!

The expanded universe is what kept Star Wars alive and made it what it is today. Without it, we would not have gotten the prequels, without it, Star Wars would not have become the phenomenon it is today. Disney needs to acknowledge this and give the people what they want, a continuation of the stories and characters they fell in love with, not this new drivel from a rewritten and subpar timeline.
