I agree with Karen McDaniel and will not sign this petition unless the majority of SIFC is removed. There is no way the Bylaws were fully followed when the majority of SIFC members have exceeded 2 years as members. Yes the Bylaws do say 2 years can be exceeded if voted by the members to stay on in another capacity/office but give other families an opportunity to serve as well as provide representation for all areas in California. Further local IFCs should have a say in who represents at the statewide level. But what upsets me the most is the nerve of SIFC to claim Dave isn't inclusive or transparent. When's the last time SIFC has held a meeting or teleconference with the local IFCs or asked our input when making decisions. Not in the 6 years I've been part of CDCR. YOU ALL NEED TO GO!

The by-laws were followed. CDCR should be the last ones to violate this decision by the members especially without the right to, override the decision. .

When there are rules governing procedures then it is the obligation of all members to follow them. Otherwise we practice disrespect for the rules. Might as well not have them. Is that was SIFC really wants?
