Honor the brave sons of Bharat mata

On the night of 15th/16th June, a group of Indian Soldiers of the 16 Bihar regiment, including the Commanding Officer of 16 Bihar regiment in charge of the area were ambushed by a large force of Chinese soldiers whilst they had gone to ask the Chinese to vacate Indian territory at Point 14 in Galwan Valley, Ladakh.

During this dastardly attack, 20 soldiers including the Commanding Officer, Col. Babu were assaulted and killed in a most heinous fashion.

To honor our soldiers I propose that this place be renamed from Galwan Valley and Galwan River, to Balwan Valley and Balwan River.

As you know Balwan, in Hindi means brave. And these unarmed soldiers were the bravest of the brave.

Join me in petitioning the Government of India to immortalize the bravery of our soldiers who were killed here in a sneak attack.

Jai Hind! Jai Hind ki Sena!
