Honor Gil Hodges and Tom Seaver With a Statue at Citi Field

Gil was my Mother's neighbor in Brooklyn. He was her hero. She & my Dad taught me baseball. Tom was my hero as a kid. There are no others more deserving of this honor. Make it happen! NOW

These men deserve New York Mets statues.

It's been too long. Please build the statues to our true Mets stars.

Two most important people. Tom Seaver was the ace and Gil Hodges was the brains to the 1969 World Champion Mets.

These 2 statues should have been up since the stadium opened. This is too long overdue. It's actually ridiculous that a petition is needed to get a statue of the franchise erected in front of the stadium.

I don't know if Wilpon's care but many, many fans do and all other teams in baseball have honored their greatest players with statues or monuments. Time for the Wilpon's to get on board.
