My name is Mercedes and I am currently running for the open Board position in Harris Park, CO. I moved up here with my family of 4 two years ago and have fallen in love with this community. I was born and raised in Englewood, CO. My current position is tax specialist at a Restaurant accounting firm. I am seeking the open position on the board as I desire to strengthen our community. We are growing rapidly and more diverse. I will be an asset to the community bringing strong family core values and clear communication. My vision for our community is to fully understand our water and recreation rights. To fully utilize our lakes and recreation for the better of the community.
I have researched the changes in the past of Harris Park and the way the financials have been spent. I know with my background I can improve the way we spend our money and move forward with an efficient system.

Ms. Gasaway represents the new Harris Park demographic of young families changing the stereotypical attitude towards Harris Park. She is intelligent, motivated for the right reasons, and has the best interests of the collective HP community at heart. She will represent a growing demographic on a board that is overloaded with the shrinking demographic. It is only fair that this growing group of constituents have representation on the board. Her opponent cannot bring that to the table. I strongly recommend and urge the Commissioners to appoint Ms. Mecerdes Gasaway to the vacant HPMD Board position.

Mercedes takes pride in our community and has the interests of those of us living full time and raising kids in mind :)
