Homeless Vets NOT parades

Homeless vets deserve to live in dignity. They must be given a good pension for their participation in serving this country - a pension that allows them to have housing and complete, free, quality healthcare coverage. Military parades would be a disgrace to this nation. It is a travesty to waste one cent on such ridiculous and dangerous notions.

It makes no sense to have a parade...none at all...

It is time to honor our vets. They did so much for us.

No military parade of any kind. All money that would have been made available should go to addressing this nation's embarrassing homeless vet problem.

We owe our vets more than hopes, prayers, and hypocrisy.

$30,000 could do a whole lot for our homeless (and addicted) veterans - and a military parade as imagined by 45 would only benefit one man's already inflated ego.

My mother and father are both WWII Marines. They think the money should go to Vets, not parades. Thank you for initiating this petition.

I feel very very strongly that it is insane to honor our soldiers with a parade but not help them get treatment for PTSD (life EMDR) and get them off the streets and in homes.

No military parade. Spend the money on our heroes.

Let's dump Trump's "my button is bigger than your button" egotistical display of bellicosity and put the money where it will do some good.
