Seeing all these names pop up on my screen feels surreal and honestly a little overwhelming because it finally feels like the city might actually have to listen to us now. I spent all night reading your comments and it just keeps reminding me why I started this whole thing in the first place even when I felt like I was shouting into the void.

I'm all for that because it's hard to find a place. I know this from experience.
We need a shelter for the homeless, please!! I saw a homeless guy on Perris Blvd & Cottonwood literally dig a big hole in the field for himself to stay in.
There are plenty of empty buildings in Moreno Valley that could easily accommodate these people in need, no one wants to be on the street.
The old smart and final off of cactus would be a perfect place for this shelter.
Housing first is important! People need shelter. We must be compassionate and trauma-informed in our approach to working with people.
i think this is a wonderful idea. they don't deserve to be on the streets.

The homeless will not go away if they have nowhere to go. Moving them from city to city will not solve the problem. They need shelter and rehabilatation services.
