the landlord thing and rent hike is ridiculous people barely make rent let alone food shame on our government help your own first before trying to look like heroes to other countries be heroes to the people that created this country

Everyone on ODSP is struggling to live, everyone making $14/hr is struggling. Families dont have time to raise their children now for having to have more than 2 incomes in the home, that's if yoou can even find a job. Its tough, and I am always fearful of a bad faith eviction.

It is impossible for people to find affordable housing in windsor. Children are even being forced out of the city. Homelessness is making it unsafe for kids to play in their own neighborhoods. Something needs to be done now!

It's about time something changes. Rent is getting ridiculous. How can families like ours, on disability, ever find and keep suitable housing? We are not given enough to cover anywhere close to what landlords are asking for rent now and half the places available arent even worth what is being asked. However landlords know it's their right and pple will pay or be homeless. Unfortunately that's what it's coming to, soon enough everyone on disability or a pension will be homeless. The government need to start capping rent, start protecting both landlords and tenants alike, help us find and keep homes..not force families onto the street!

This city is turning into the slums! Can we not use empty schools and various buildings, boarded up houses to house our most vulnerable? Gov't-$$, food in their bellies, homes, vacation's, I'm sure a lot of laughs well toasting to a good drink. I've seen a homeless man feeding a drug addicts children...A bunch of empty promises come campaign time, only for u to turn a blind eye. We NEED change and QUICKLY!!! I'm barely getting by myself and see so may other's worse off. This is a SAD and DISGUSTING situation!!! What r we turning into-a third world country??? Why r ppl having to choose between housing, food, bills, medications? And why do we keep taking in ppl from elsewhere when u can't even take care of our own??? It's time for change...Our city and it's ppl NEED help!!!! And QUICKLY!!! Day by day it seems to get worse. Ppl r desperate and committing more crime to get by....It's time to start paying attention to the ppl ... SHAME ON OUR GOVERNMENT FOR NOT TAKING A STAND EARLIER...So sad and disgusted!!!

Our city is turning into the slums! Seriously so many issues with no action, so we cannot get any results. Government officials-$$, food in yr bellies, homes, vacations and I'm sure many laughs behind closed doors along with their wine glasses making toasts...Can we not utilize empty schools and various building around our city to help our most vulnerable? Something NEEDS to b done QUICK!!! R we turning into a third world country? I'm on a Sunlife disability and C.P.P....I have NO medical coverage and am barely squeaking by. I've seen a homeless man digging food out of a dumpster to feed a drug addict's children...this is all just DISGUSTING!!!! We NEED change and quickly!!! Y'all making promises campaign time only to fail and turn a blind eye...Where is our government that is supposed to protect us? It's just sooo SAD and DISGUSTING!!! SHAME ON YOU!!!!!

My family and I had to actually leave the city where my other half still works just to be able to find affordable housing as we were about to homeless!!! Now he commutes 2hrs everyday and next to never sees his children just to try and keep ends meeting.
