Buying a house in England is frustrating for both Buyers and Sellers as right up until the last minute before exchange you don't know if you have a deal or not. If the chain falls apart at this stage you can lose hundreds if not thousands of pounds and we believe this is unfair. I want to petition the Goverment to change the law to make a binding contract once an offer is made and accepted such as the arrangement in Scotland or other parts of Europe. I intend to submit this petition to Downing Street by the end of July 2010 so please pledge your support for this change.
