We are writing to ask you to do everything you can to keep trading here. We use your store and want you to stay.
To you, the reader, please sign this petition if you would like Homebase to stay at St Leonard's. The store is currently threatened with closure because of possible site redevelopment by the site owner, but Homebase really wants to stay.
I redecorated my flat almost entirely with goods from Homebase. It was wonderful to be able to walk across the road when I'd forgotten something instead of getting in a car and battling traffic to get to somewhere on the outskirts of town.

I have lived in the area for 35 years and Homebase has saved my life on numerous occasions. I am now disabled, have no car and I am not good getting on and off buses so I would miss Homebase greatly.

We use Homebase very regularly; it's great local resource that's used educationally by the local school and local children

All the local older properties are, as I well know, "high maintenance". I'm in to Homebase often and, as a non-car user it's invaluable.

I use Homebase fairly regularly - 2 or 3 times per month on average - and have purchased all sorts of things there, from furniture and garden tools to tools and ironmongery. I would be very sorry to see it go.

This store is a much valued local amenity. To lose it would be bad enough but to lose it in exchange for more concentrated student housing would be destructive of the Southside community.
