The code of conduct states- “Pants with holes. Holes in pants CANNOT BE LARGER than a 3x5 note card. It doesn’t matter where the holes fall on the pants. They are considered unprofessional and need to be covered.”
The principal tried dress coding me and other students for holes that were smaller than a 3x5 note card. And she said that it was because they were higher than our finger tips. But it does not state that in the code of conduct that the holes cannot fall above the finger tips.
Please sign this to protest the fact that they are unfairly dress coding students for something that is not stated in the conduct.
im still getting messages from people who got dress coded even when their jeans followed the rules perfectly. it makes no sense that they keep making up new standards on the spot and we really need to keep pushing back against this.

im honestly kind of blown away by how many people are feeling this same frustration. it feels like we finally have some real momentum to show them that they cant just make up rules as they go. reading through your comments is giving me so much energy for the next steps.

Dress code restrictions rediculous, no boobs butts bellies, i can get behind that. But legs shoulder and backs, everyone has them, stop cracking down on the girls because we're "too distracting for the boys to learn" first off a lot of boys are gay anyways and second, what you're teaching uss by doing this is that our education isnt as isnt as important as boys education

I would like to state the fact that we can wear shorts that fall below her fingertips I feel we can wear ripped jeans that have what ever size hole we want as long it passes our finger tips .

It’s really not fair how boys be showing the same things that girls do but it’s fine but when it’s a girls shoulder or thigh they freak out. Like what?! SHORTS SHOW THE SAME THING.

If the school has a problem with boys getting distracted then maybe boys should learn to keep it in their pants. if we want to express ourselves in clothes then let us. the teachers need to grow a pair

clothes are clothes, why should it matter what we wear? my sisters made a great point... why should we as women have to cover up and hide ourselves just so that people wont look? we shouldn't, so screw them and their index cards/ pop cans. I'm going to dress however I want. showing no skin or showing as much skin as I want. I SAID WHAT I SAID.
