Hold Zack Burkett Co. and TxDOT Accountable for Vehicle Damage on U.S. 287

Windshield and other damage due to no negligence of road work. 1000 to fix my windshield I should not be left with that bill when we pay taxes for our roads to be fixed properly.

I have several chips in my windshield and also my passenger side window. Paint chip also on my hood!! My son has several cracks in his windshield

I have a chip on my windshield because of the loose gravel on 287! I drive a rare car and it will be outrageous to fix.

I have lost 2 windshields and habe 1 dings and a crack across my 3rd Im literally replacing my windshield on a yearly basis

I have two chips in my windshield of my Ford F150 due to the improper cleanup of the highway after they scraped off the top layer every time a car passes you doesn’t matter if it’s a car semi truck doesn’t matter you get showered with rocks

We now have a cracked windshield and rock chips in the paint.

We received damage to our truck windshield on this stretch of highway on 287 on 2 separate occasions. Insurance paid for chip repair, but the chips were not able to be repaired. We are now out of pocket a $500 deductible to get the windshield repaired.

on 7/8/25 i had to drive home in the city view area and my windshield was cracked as a result of the road conditions.

The road caused a rock chip in my windshield.

My vehicle windshield was damaged also. It for sure is a safety hazard. Even while driving the lowered speed debris was flying.

I had to replace two tires because the road ate them up. This past weekend me and my family was traveling and had a blowout on the highway thank God we were able to get off safely. Once we got to discount tire they showed us how our front two tires had been damaged. I asked them what could caused this and they explained if traveling roads with gravel. I stoped them and asked about the high way on 287 and they said yes this would caused this issue. I spent 700 bucks and would like my money back we have not had this care more than 2 months if that long so those tires were good. They are not even working on the roads so I have to go around now because I don’t want to cause damage to my new tires. We pay to have nice high ways and there is no reason I should have to pay even more because the chose to leave the job no complete.
