It is my right as a Muslim who frequents “DFW Islamic Educational Center Arlington Texas”; to be a member of this nonprofit organization.
The group, who has been running the center (aka Dar El Eman) “unconstitutionally”, has NOT given me or numerous other community members the opportunity to become a member.
This has denied us all the right to have a vote in decisions impacting our families and especially our children.
By signing this petition, I am demanding that a membership drive be immediately launched and steps taken to bring about legitimate leadership to the center in accordance with the federal and state laws governing nonprofit 501 (c) (3) organizations.

Legal counsel is currently reviewing the organization documents to confirm our standing regarding the nonprofit bylaws. We are preparing a formal request for transparency in the membership process to be submitted to the board of directors. Further updates will follow once we have received a response to our initial inquiry.

Time for fair elections. This shura ruined the youth group by interfering in it and driving out the youth leadership and Imam said. Our sons and daughters loved the program and it was very successful
Request a Dar el iman general body meeting to vote a new long waiting election board members as stated by our non profit mosque by laws
I support this from the very beginning. it's not LLC rather 501 c where every members voice is important for the organisation. I hope our brothers get open mind to discuss and bring peace in democratic way. May Allah guide us.Thanks, Jashim Ahmed
Masjid asdministration needs to show people what constitution Masjid currently has and their financial records
Let's take a look around us. Masjids that do not apply the simplistic form of fairness like elections are failures. Dar El-Eman is one of them. Not a single successful program. And if one program does become successful, the people in charge are quick to destroy it. This is an indication of lack of leadership skills. On the other hand, Masajid that implement and hold elections are successful and have surpassed Dar El-Eman in terms of programs, construction, and activities.
The shura should not worry about elections. If they are doing a good job they will be re-elected. Insha Allah.

This shura is becoming arab dictatorship 2.0 lazy and ruin everything they touch like someone already mentioned the poor youth program from many years ago. They drove those poor youth out of the mosque when the youth put together a great program of over 200 youth but just like the school the shura can’t stand seeing anything succeed without them in it
