SOMETHING'S SHOULD BE KEPT TO BE PART OF THOSE OF THE ISLANDS. JUST LIKE NOT ALLOWING MAINLAND FOLKS TO NOT PURCHASE LAND.. THIS IS A PART OF HAWAII'S HISTORY NOT UNITED STATES, IN A SENSE.. I AM PROUD N HONORED TO OF BEEN TO SAIL OUT ON IT.. WHEN IT CAME BACK FROM TAHITI ABOUT 1977? MY MOM ,(Audrey R. Sedeno) use to date Adam, who was part of the crew.. God rest his soul. the Hokule'a is registered under the U.S. vessel registry...it is all that is required...not necessary to fly the registry country! It is out of Hawai'i.

This is not a US Vessel but the Hokulea is from Hawaii..take down the US flag and only use the Hawaiian Kingdom flag!

Living in Hawaii has helped me to understand that the Hawaiians were treated as badly by the Europeans as my Cherokee ancestors.
