I've met all 157 of my last girl friends at Northern Soul. It was the only bar my friends and I would frequent. It was like my family. This is a complete shame. #SoS

Northern Soul represents something completely different than the average Hoboken bar, and under no circumstances should it be closed.

Northern Soul was the"go to" spot on countless occasions. It seperated itself from the rest of the Hoboken bar scene- The vibe and music were awesome. Many nights I danced, drank, laughed, caught up with friends, and even fell in love! Northern soul was a "home" to great people and a great business. Very sad to see this happen. Especially for no substanial reason!

This bar has been my home in Hoboken for too long. Nothing will ever replace it and nothing will ever be better than what was there. The best people at the best spot in Hoboken.
